I love bears, especially grizzly bears! I have been fortunate to photograph them in the wild in Alaska, Canada, Montana and Wyoming! I do not view them as my friends nor my protectors, I have a huge amount of respect for them, and I do not do anything to jeopardize myself or them. Most of the pictures were taken when I was with other people so we were in a group or in a boat. The others were mostly taken from the safety of my car or a roadside where a bear happened to be passing through.
